Story 1 · The Honest Merchant

ایک سچا تاجر

ایک تاجر تھا جو ہمیشہ سچ بولتا تھا۔ وہ کبھی کسی کو دھوکہ نہیں دیتا تھا۔ لوگ اس پر بھروسہ کرتے تھے۔ ایک دن ایک غریب آدمی اس کے پاس آیا اور کہا: "مجھے کام چاہیے۔" تاجر نے کہا: "ٹھیک ہے، میرے ساتھ کام کرو۔" غریب آدمی نے محنت سے کام کیا اور تاجر نے اسے پوری مزدوری دی۔

Ek taajir tha jo hamesha sach bolta tha. Woh kabhi kisi ko dhoka nahin deta tha. Log us par bharosa karte the. Ek din ek ghareeb aadmi us ke paas aaya aur kaha: "Mujhe kaam chahiye." Taajir ne kaha: "Theek hai, mere saath kaam karo." Ghareeb aadmi ne mehnat se kaam kiya aur taajir ne use poori mazdoori di.

Translation: There was a merchant who always spoke the truth. He never deceived anyone. People trusted him. One day a poor man came to him and said: "I need work." The merchant said: "Very well, come work with me." The poor man worked diligently and the merchant paid him his full wage.

Story 2 · A Mother's Prayer

ماں کی دعا

ماں کی دعا آسمان تک پہنچتی ہے۔ جو اپنی ماں کو خوش رکھے، اللہ اسے ہر مشکل میں مدد کرتا ہے۔ ایک بزرگ عالم نے کہا: "میری کامیابی کا سب سے بڑا سبب میری ماں کی دعائیں تھیں۔" جب کوئی مصیبت آتی، وہ اپنی ماں کے پاس جاتا اور کہتا: "امی، میرے لیے دعا کریں۔"

Maan ki dua aasmaan tak pahunchti hai. Jo apni maan ko khush rakhe, Allah use har mushkil mein madad karta hai. Ek buzurg aalim ne kaha: "Meri kamyabi ka sabse bara sabab meri maan ki duayein thin." Jab koi museebat aati, woh apni maan ke paas jaata aur kahta: "Ammi, mere liye dua karo."

Translation: A mother's prayer reaches to the sky. Allah helps in every difficulty the one who keeps his mother happy. A respected scholar said: "The greatest reason for my success was my mother's prayers." When difficulty came, he went to his mother and said: "Ammi, please pray for me."

The Value of Time

وقت اللہ کی بہت بڑی نعمت ہے۔ جو شخص وقت کو ضائع کرتا ہے وہ اپنی زندگی ضائع کرتا ہے۔ نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا: "دو نعمتیں ایسی ہیں جن میں اکثر لوگ دھوکے میں ہیں — صحت اور فراغت۔" اس لیے ہمیں ہر لمحے کو قیمتی سمجھنا چاہیے۔

Translation: Time is a great blessing from Allah. The one who wastes time wastes his life. The Prophet ﷺ said: "Two blessings in which many people are deceived — health and free time." Therefore we must regard every moment as precious.

علم حاصل کرنا ہر مسلمان پر فرض ہے۔ نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا: "علم حاصل کرو، چاہے تمہیں چین جانا پڑے۔" علم سے انسان کا دل روشن ہوتا ہے۔ جاہل آدمی اندھیرے میں چلتا ہے، لیکن عالم آدمی روشنی میں چلتا ہے۔

Translation: Seeking knowledge is obligatory upon every Muslim. The Prophet ﷺ said: "Seek knowledge, even if you must go to China." Knowledge illuminates the human heart. The ignorant walk in darkness, but the learned walk in light.

Urdu Lecture — Khutbah Style

اللہ تعالیٰ نے ہمیں اس دنیا میں اس لیے بھیجا ہے کہ ہم اس کی عبادت کریں اور اس کے احکام پر عمل کریں۔ دنیا عارضی ہے اور آخرت ابدی ہے۔ جو شخص دنیا کو آخرت پر ترجیح دیتا ہے وہ گھاٹے میں ہے۔

Allah Ta'ala ne hamein is duniya mein isliye bheja hai ke hum us ki ibadat karein aur us ke ahkaam par amal karein. Duniya aarzi hai aur aakhirat abadi hai. Jo shaks duniya ko aakhirat par tarjeeh deta hai woh ghaate mein hai.

Translation: Allah has sent us into this world to worship Him and act upon His commands. This world is temporary and the hereafter is eternal. The one who prefers this world over the hereafter is at a loss.

آج ہم قرآن کریم کی ایک آیت پر غور کریں گے۔ اللہ تعالیٰ نے فرمایا: "إِنَّ اللَّهَ مَعَ الصَّابِرِينَ" — یعنی اللہ صبر کرنے والوں کے ساتھ ہے۔ صبر ایک بہت بڑی طاقت ہے۔ جب کوئی مشکل آئے، صبر کرو اور اللہ سے مدد مانگو۔

Aaj hum Quran Kareem ki ek aayat par ghaur karenge. Allah Ta'ala ne farmaya: "Innallaha ma'as-sabirin" — yani Allah sabr karne walon ke saath hai. Sabr ek bahut badi taaqat hai. Jab koi mushkil aaye, sabr karo aur Allah se madad maango.

Translation: Today we will reflect on one verse from the Quran. Allah said: "Innallaha ma'as-sabirin" — Allah is with those who are patient. Patience is a great power. When difficulty comes, be patient and ask Allah for help.

اے اللہ! ہمارے گناہوں کو معاف فرما۔ ہمارے دلوں کو پاک فرما۔ ہمیں سیدھا راستہ دکھا۔ ہمارے والدین کو معاف فرما اور انہیں جنت میں جگہ دے۔ تمام مسلمانوں کو اپنی حفاظت میں رکھ۔ آمین۔

Ae Allah! Hamare gunaahon ko maaf farma. Hamare dilon ko paak farma. Hamein seedha raasta dikha. Hamare walidain ko maaf farma aur unhein jannat mein jagah de. Tamaam musalmaanon ko apni hifazat mein rakh. Ameen.

Translation: O Allah! Forgive our sins. Purify our hearts. Show us the straight path. Forgive our parents and grant them paradise. Keep all Muslims under Your protection. Ameen.
